Motorhome insurance

Before heading off on the road to enjoy your motorhome holiday, you need to make sure that your vehicle is completely covered so that you don’t incur any additional financial risk when hiring a motorhome.

There are several types of risk that you will be exposed to once you get the keys to the vehicle.

Depending on the type of insurance coverage that you have, the premium and excess amount may be reduced.

There are a few things you need to consider when taking out insurance when renting a motorhome.

  • Excess that you will need to pay.
  • The premium.
  • If your insurance policy covers the contents within the motorhome.
  • If your insurance cover may be void for certain reasons, such as driving on the wrong terrain, or parking in high-crime neighbourhoods.
  • Driver’s policies

Make sure to check the fine-print of your insurance policy before going on the road with your rental motorhome.
